RIO XINGU
[XINGU RIVER]
A segunda escuta aconteceu entre 2016 e 2019 quando ouvimos o depoimento do rio Xingu sobre a catástrofe causada pela hidrelétrica de Belo Monte. Essa escuta deu origem ao espetáculo Altamira 2042. A performance estreou em 2019 no Festival Internacional de Teatro de São Paulo - MITsp, e vem se apresentando em diversas cidades do Brasil e do mundo, incluindo a cidade de Altamira, no Pará, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Viena, Hamburgo, Porto, Lisboa, entre outros.
The second listening took place between 2016 and 2019 when we heard the testimony of the Xingu river about the catastrophe caused by the Belo Monte hydroelectric plant. This listening gave rise to the show Altamira 2042. The performance premiered in 2019 at the São Paulo International Theater Festival - MITsp, and has been performed in several cities in Brazil and the world, including the city of Altamira, in Pará, Rio de Janeiro , Paris, Vienna, Hamburg, Porto, Lisbon, among others.
